Thirdly, good clean SFA technology doesn't have to be expensive. If you build it right from day one with loads of flexibility, then it shouldn't have a big price tag. We keep all of your account information at a secure state of the art web hosting facility in The City of Monterey Park which is located in the San Gabriel Valley, just east of Los Angeles. Our facility features daily back ups, 24 /7 monitoring and 99.99% up time.

If you have access to the Internet, you can access your account, whether you are in the office, off-site with a customer, or on the road. See our Security section for more details about the strict measures we takes to safeguard your business data.

How safe is SalesAhoy?

SalesAhoy employs only the most stringent of security measures. We store our servers in a highly secure facility where access is controlled and monitored 24 hours a day. All data is transferred over secure lines. We also back up your business data at regular intervals each day.

Naturally, you retain total control over who is and is not authorized to access your information. You can also rest assured knowing that we never share your information with any of its partners or any outside company.

Can I be a reseller for SalesAhoy?

Can I use SalesAhoy if I am outside the United States?

SalesAhoy is intended to be used anywhere in the world where you have access to a computer with Internet connection.

What if I decide to cancel my account?
Should you ever find it necessary to close your SalesAhoy account, we will remove all of your data from our servers at your request. The good news for you is that because we charge you an access fee per month, you can cancel with no financial loss. Simply contact us at support@salesahoy.com.
What kind of customer service support can I expect from SalesAhoy?

We support small business success. Our goal is to help you improve sales while saving you time and money.

The longest we'll ever take to respond to your enquiries is 12 hours.

Does SalesAhoy sell or rent its subscriber list?

No, SalesAhoy does not sell or rent any subscriber/membership information, including e-mail addresses. All individual user and company information is kept private.

Will I have 24-hour access to my SalesAhoy data?
Yes, SalesAhoy is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world that you can access the Internet.
Can I customize the terminology and fields?
Yes. We believe you should chart your own course. You can customize SalesAhoy very easily. Contact us for your copy of our Rules of the Sea Admin guide.
Can I have a backup of my SalesAhoy data?
You can receive a complete download of all your company data on by using our
export to excel function at any time. Just perform a search for the records you
are interested in (i.e. all records), then press the 'View this report in MS
Excel' button at the bottom of the page - the data will automatically be
transferred to Excel for you to save. Future development includes a file-based
backup system, due for release later in 2004.
How do I import my existing data into SalesAhoy?
We have an Import Wizard which will get your sales data from Microsoft Outlook™,
ACT!, any other program that has a CSV (comma separated value) file format such
as Microsoft Excel™, and Microsoft Access™. The Import Wizard takes you
step-by-step through the import process, allowing you to specify how your data
will be organized once it is in SalesAhoy. If you are unsure, just upload your
file in whatever format you have and we’ll take a look at it for you.
What data restrictions do you have?
We don't have any formal rules about data restrictions (within reason!) - just
let us know the size you are anticipating. For example, it is common for our
users to have 5000 contact records.
Can I call you to discuss my needs?
We keep our costs so low by doing 100% of our business on the web.
However we can promise we'll give clear, timely responses to any detailed
questions you have about the product, via email.
